Banjo Cold Brew Coffee utilizes a signature Slow n’ Low method of cold brewing to extract the most complex notes over 24 hours. Using only the freshest organic and fairly traded beans, Banjo’s craft process draws a superior product with low acidity that is great straight up, on the rocks or accompanied with your preferred mixer.

Debuting in 2015 with two original flavors (Pitch Black and Sweetly Tuned), Banjo has now expanded it’s repertoire to include two additional brews: Harmonious Chai (a cold brew steeped with all natural chai spices) and Bittersweet Symphony (a twist on New Orleans style coffee with chicory, cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla). 

Founded by husband and wife team, Billy and Chasidy Atchison, along with lifelong friend, Sebastian Kegel, Banjo originated at a small farmer’s market on the east side of Atlanta. Banjo can now be found throughout the Southeast in specialty shops, restaurants and grocery chains, such as Whole Foods, Kroger and Central Market. You can also try exciting variations served on tap, Nitro style, at music festivals, farmers’ markets, special events, as well as, Banjo Coffee Brewing Co.; a newly opened brewery and shop on the east side of Atlanta, across the street from that same farmer’s market where it all began. 

Banjo’s approach is small-batch and quality driven with an emphasis on sustainability, approachability, and a method that honors the farmer.  Where Southern Hospitality meets craft cold brew!

We have a responsibility to our palates to provide delectable tastes whenever possible, but we also strive to be responsible in our approach. Banjo prides itself in being part of the craft coffee movement where there is an emphasis on quality products and quality process. Creating our cold brew in small batches ensures that each batch is perfect. As a consumer you should have a high-quality, crafted coffee ready-to-drink, and it’s part of our company’s mission to deliver that to you, consistently, every time. 

We also believe in doing business responsibly.  This means that we take time in our process to ensure that we have ethical standards for ourselves and our suppliers, vendors, and ingredients. We source only fair trade beans, stay as local as possible with all our business dealings. We repurpose all leftover ground beans into compost or other products, such as body scrubs. We recycle all recyclable materials and try to reduce our footprint at each step of the process.
